well this is a fairly easy task to do once you understand the process

you guys are running a PHPbb forum from freeforum.org which means your running a regular NUKE site. Ok The attachment option that comes with nuke are pretty much a waste of time and effort, they are only good if you do not have somekind of webstorage..ie..A home for your images.

Everything that you see and hear and read on the Internet LIVES on the Internet, somewhere..someplace.

Now for lesson one:

the URL ....The Uniform Resource Locator or better known as Universal Resource Locator.

basically this is where the image LIVES on the net.  SO we need to PULL the URL into this forum  How do we do that you wonder :?: ...we copy and paste.

COPY AND PASTE is your friend... learn it and lt will become your best friend.

Now lets continue here...I will use my own storage area for example here seeing it makes my life easier

I want to post a image I go to my INDEX where I store my images.
http://thewolve.org/pics

ok now that you are snooping at all my images that I use on my site lets pull one into this forum

right click on any image in my index..a window pops up and you will see a copy shortcut.....click it...you just copied a URL into your computers Memory

Now that you have a URL (link) copied into your computer you need to get rid of it..or PASTE it somewhere

you come back to your forum of choice and open a text area (new topic or reply)

Now Nuke and phpBB has what are called bbcodes..those are the little icon things at the top of your window when your making a post. what they do is they try to make your life easy by giving you the HTML TAGS you need to post a image (embed)

Basic HTML 101 fast and sweet:
opening tag
Code: Select all
[img]
and closing tag
Code: Select all
[/img]

the URL goes in between the opening and closing tags

Code: Select all

which will give you this

I hope this helped
