Well Buck she is a real flyer, mine is battle hardened now! Having never assembled an ARF I put her together with the Park 480 outrunner using a Align 2100 3S battery. I did not check the control surface throws and I had the Aerilons reversed on her maiden. Suffice to say she sustained minor damage on takeoff as she went the wrong way! Cartwheeling across the grass wing tips sheared off! Correcting that I took off again and not having my control throws and Dual rates set up yet and pulling on the elevator too hard she looped crashed and sustained serious damage.
I have since repaired it using tape and foam CA and actually flew it last weekend with great results. The Sea Fury is a keeper and as soon as my flying skills get better there will be a new one coming! Once I trimmed it out in the air, very smooth and capable flyer! I can see why you like warbirds so much Buck! Gene
