Don't forget that the Mall Show is Saturday, August 23rd. We start setup at 9:00 A.M. and will be there until about 4:00 P.M. This is a chance to interface with the public and encourage newcomers to join us in our hobby. If you're a Tuesday/Thursday morning flier or a Wednesday morning flier and not much else, you'll probably meet some club members you've never seen before.

Shalimar Hobbies will have a contest: Come to the Mall Show and write down the names of all the club members you see. Give your list of names to me before you leave the Mall Show. The list with the most names is the winner. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.

Is there a limit to how many planes we can bring? I have a little bit of everything, and would love to show them off...

Set up time will be at 9:00 by the food court. Bring your favorite airplanes for display and any old model airplane magazines to pass out to the public. This is our chance to promote model aviation and recruit new members.
If you have any small helicopters or electric airplanes for demo purposes bring them also. Any question call me at 882-3228 daytime or 678-1807 in the evening. You may want to bring a fold up chair with you.
