Here's another "Efficient" option:

Another:

A little more scale:

I think there are planty of different cheap airframes that are big enough to fly with the sonic combat modules. We'll just have to figure out several "approved" air frames to keep it affordable and fair.

Well I finally made my decision. I decided to stick with the S&B model line as I liked the reviews I've been reading. Instead of the F4U I went with the Focke Wulf 190A

The wing shape is more durable and it has less assembly time (2-4hrs). Probably a week for me. I wish I had some skills with an airbrush but I'll be sticking to the tape method for now. I'm planning on disassembling the sonic combat module and building the components into the fuselage. It will keep with the authentic look and prevent belly landing on the SCM. Without a landing gear it would surely nose it over. Does anyone have a scale to check final weight?

Shooting for a final look along this line

Well I guess Im back to square one. I just received an email from S&B and was told the Focke Wulf is out of stock and their production line is currently experiencing problems so my order was cancelled... All I want to do is shoot someone down, is that too much to ask?

No! Get a Foam Plane, cheaper, quicker, and easier to build!

I am going to run my own electronics so im not sure if I should by the ARF or if I can buy it minus electronics or just buy the bit pieces. Any ideas?

Better hope it's fast! I have all the junk from my reactor, so I might just drop it in one of my other airframes. I still have that SE5A
